Groundskeeper - The Grove Museum

The Florida Department of State, Office of External Affairs, seeks a qualified candidate for the position of Groundskeeper at The Grove Museum. This is an intermediate-level position charged with undertaking long-term landscaping projects and developing landscape-focused community partnerships and programs.

Applicants must possess a degree in education, physical or natural sciences, archaeology, horticulture, or a related field and at least two (2) years experience working in academia, museums, not-for-profits, government, or in a comparable environment in the private sector.

This is full-time OPS position that pays $15 per hour. Applicants should be aware that the basic requirements for this position are an ability to work several consecutive hours outdoors during all seasons, lift heavy objects, operate standard maintenance equipment, and communicate effectively with the public.
