FY19 COCA Cultural Grant Program

The FY19 COCA Cultural Grant Program guidelines and application materials are now available. The application deadline is July 6,2018 at 5pm.

COCA's Cultural Grant Program is designed to support and fund arts and cultural programs in our community that create broader public access, benefit, and participation in arts and cultural activities in our community and which enhance our community's quality of life, local economy and tourism impact. Volunteer citizen panelists are recruited each year to review and score grant applications and make recommendations for funding. Eligible organizations must be a 501c3 and have been providing arts or cultural programming in their discipline for at least three complete fiscal years. Recipients of City funds-- from general fund revenue--will have demonstrated dedication to creating broader public access, benefit and participation in arts and cultural activities in our community, enhancing both quality of life and our local economy. Recipients of County funds--from tourist development tax revenue-- will have demonstrated efforts to enhance Leon County's tourism impact. COCA offers free technical reviews, consultations, and grant writing workshops to assist applicants throughout the grant process.
