Funding for International Arts Festivals Available

The Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation is providing funds for supports in-person performances by American artists at engagements at international festivals and global presenting arts marketplaces outside of the United States. The program funds individuals and ensembles across all performing arts practices and disciplines.

For projects taking place between January 15, 2024 and June 30, 2025, applications are due September 29, 2023 by 11:59 p.m. EST. Fiscal sponsor certification and letters of invitation for these applications are due October 6, 2023.

For projects taking place between July 1, 2024 and June 20, 24, applications are due March 27, 2024 by 11:59 p.m. EST. Fiscal sponsor certification and letters of invitation for these applications are due April 3, 2024.

Applicants can request up to $15,000 for eligible expenses (travel, housing, per diem, shipping, visa fees, performance fees, application fees and fiscal sponsor administration fees). Selected applicants typically receive between 70-95% of the funds requested; awarded grants are typically between $1,000 – $12,000.
