Florida Humanities Community Project Grants

Beginning in 2022, Florida Humanities’ Community Project Grants will double, awarding up to $10,000 to support humanities-based learning experiences! In public humanities programming funded through this grant, Floridians are encouraged to engage in thoughtful reflection, analysis, and consideration of important topics relevant to local communities, and the state writ large.

This funding opportunity aims to increase public participation in — and access to — the humanities by providing relevant, engaging, and meaningful humanities-based programming to all. At its core, Community Project Grants embody our mission to preserve, promote and share the history, literature, culture, and personal stories that offer Floridians a better understanding of themselves, their communities, and their state.

Funding Highlights and Key Dates:

  • Funding Amount: Up to $10,000
