Florida Animation Festival - Call for Submissions

Submissions are OPEN for the fifth annual Florida Animation Festival (FAF)!  In the past, we've received over 400 submissions from 28 countries! Student, independent, and professional animators from Argentina to Japan and throughout the USA submitted projects in different categories: 2D/vector, CGI/3D, stop-motion, frame-by-frame/traditional, and mixed media/experimental.

New for our 2020 festival is the addition of two divisions for young animators!  Free for the first year, there are two categories under which animators can submit: Creators aged 12 and under are "Debut Junior" and animators between 13 - 17 are "Debut."   As it is our first year opening up these specific categories, the judging process will be independent from paid-for submissions.

FAF is the only festival of its kind in the region, celebrating the art of animation in all its forms.  From stop-motions to visual effects, there are thousands of frames and keyframes involved that create the magic before our eyes. Animation will soon arrive at the station, see you there!
