Education Development Coordinator

   

The Holocaust Education Resource Council seeks a part-time professional to coordinate and facilitate programs and resources for educators and students throughout North Florida. Reporting to the
Executive Director, the Education Development Coordinator has the following role:

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to coordinate and present historically
accurate and highly engaging on- and off-site programs that help Florida educators meet the Holocaust
Education Mandate as well as state and national curriculum standards
• Assist with developing collaborative partnerships with teachers and administrators in multiple schools
districts
• Assist with scheduling and facilitating workshops and presentations across North Florida
• Work with public, private, and home-school groups
• Assist with program evaluation, including data collection and participant feedback.
Qualifications:
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Must be capable of undertaking multiple projects simultaneously and balancing long- and short-term
priorities, with equal attention to big-picture goals and small logistical details.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with Board, donors, and representatives of schools and
other community-based organizations
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of the Holocaust. Degree in Education/History preferred.
• Self-starter with the ability to think broadly, set direction, and successfully meet deliverables.

SALARY: part-time, 20 hours/week, $25,000
