Contests

In-House Poem Contest
Features an award of $400, publication, contributor copies, and a featured interview. Those selected who don't win the grand prize will be called runner-ups, and they'll receive $50 per poem, publication, a contributor copy, and an interview!
Submissions open until January 15, 2021.

In-House Short Story Contest
Features an award of $400, publication, contributor copies, and a featured interview, with the runner-ups receiving $100, publication, a contributor copy, and an interview!
Submissions open until January 15, 2021.

Seminars

Chapbook Creation Seminar
Whether you have a solid idea for a chapbook already or are just starting out, Driftwood Press’ Chapbook Creation Seminar will give you invaluable tools, strategies, and insights to bring your own chapbook to life!

The class timeline is as follows:
-September 9th – October 18th: Submissions open for application; first come, first served. Payment due upon application.
-October 19th: First day of Chapbook Creation Seminar!
-November 20th: Final day of Chapbook Creation Seminar!

Editors & Writers: The Path to Publication
This seminar tackles everything from craft to submitting to editorial philosophies, and it'll be most helpful to fiction writers looking to publish in literary magazines.

The class timeline is as follows:

-October 19th: First day of Editors & Writers Seminar!
