DESCRIPTION
Led by choreographer Andrew Simonet, this 90-minute webinar is geared to artists working in all disciplines and covers all aspects of real life budgeting, including misconceptions about money, four things you can do for your financial life this week, establishing sustainable life-long principles, determining what your time costs, and creating a realistic budget for an artistic project.

To attend this webinar, you will need access to a computer with speakers and an Internet connection (hard-wired is preferred over wireless). There is no special software needed.

Webinars are recorded.  The recording will be shared with all previously registered participants after the webinar, regardless of whether participants attend the live workshop or not. Special one-time-only webinars, such as our Artists Talk Tech and Visual Arts Round Table interviews, will also be available for purchase after the fact.

If you experience trouble with the PayPal payment interface, please take one or more of the following the steps to resolve the issue:

* Complete the registration process on a computer and NOT on a tablet or mobile device

* Make sure your web browser software is totally up-to-date

* Delete your web browsing history and cache

* Completely close and reopen your browser software again

* Reboot your computer

* Try registering using a different web browser software (Google Chrome has been known to cause some problems)

ABOUT ANDREW SIMONET
Andrew Simonet was, from 1993 to 2013, a founding co-director and choreographer of Philadelphia's Headlong Dance Theater, along with his collaborators Amy Smith and David Brick. Headlong created collaborative dance theater in Philadelphia, and toured nationally. Andrew’s projects included CELL, a performance journey for one audience member at a time guided by your cell phone, and This Town is a Mystery, performances by four Philadelphia households in their homes, followed by a potluck dinner. Headlong’s work was funded by the The Creative Capital Foundation, The Pew Charitable Trusts, The Rockefeller Foundation MAP Fund, The Japan Foundation, and The National Endowment for the Arts.

Headlong's work was produced by The Philadelphia Live Arts Festival, Dance Theater Workshop (NYC), P.S. 122 (NYC), Central Park Summerstage, The Jade Festival (Tokyo), The Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art. Currently, Andrew is focused on writing and independent creative projects. He runs a professional development program for artists in Philadelphia, Baltimore, and South Carolina. Andrew lives in West Philadelphia with his wife Elizabeth and their sons Jesse Tiger and Nico Wolf.

ABOUT THE ONLINE LEARNING PROGRAM
We are proud to offer selected topics from PDP workshops to the general public through the  Online Learning Program. We are dedicated to extending our reach to artists who are new to Creative Capital’s professional development offerings, as well as those PDP alumni who are interested in a refresher course. Many of these courses are designed for individual artists of all disciplines, while others will be discipline-specific.

Most Online Learning sessions will be approximately 90 minutes in duration, including lecture and Q&A sessions. Webinars are taught and moderated live by talented workshop leaders, so the information is always up-to-date and engaging. Q&A sessions are included to be sure that all our participants have the chance to follow up on specific concerns.
