Comcast Cares Day Project Proposals

Volunteer Florida is excited to work with our partner Comcast to expand volunteer opportunities in Florida through the 2018 Comcast Cares Day on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Comcast Cares Day is Comcast’s annual company-wide day of service in which tens of thousands of Comcast employees, along with their families and friends, volunteer in their local communities. Last year, more than 105,000 volunteers participated in Comcast Cares Day to improve more than 1,000 project sites in 23 countries.

Register an Event - Comcast of Florida is currently seeking projects ideas and would love to hear from you. Organizations must be a qualified non-profit with 501c3 status; projects should be able to accommodate 20 volunteers (or more) for a minimum of 4 hours. Projects Guidelines - Comcast employees are a multi-talented group of volunteers looking to help out the communities where they live and work. They enjoy projects that involve computer literacy training, building, painting, cleaning, organizing, landscaping, technology training, etc. The project should be a minimum of 4 hours; and able to be completed in approximately 6 hours of continuous work.
