Civic Chorale Open Registration

Call for Musicians/Vocalists - DEADLINE : May 09, 2017

The Civic Chorale begins their summer season on Tuesday, May 2 with open registration at 6:30pm and first rehearsal following at 7:00pm in Room CH165 of the Communications and Humanities Building on the TCC Campus. Open Registration continues on Tuesday, May 9. There is no audition required to join the Chorale, only a love of music and a willingness to learn. The Chorale will be preparing music for our June 13th concert, “A Night at The Movies.” Artistic Director Dr. Leslie Heffner has chosen a program of music featured in or written for films across many genres and eras. Selections include Skyfall (from Skyfall), Moon River (from Breakfast at Tiffany’s), Feels Like Home (from Michael), and Hallelujah (from Shrek 2). There will also be opportunities for solos and small ensembles by audition.

Registration fees are $15 for students (FSU, FAMU, TCC, and under 18) and $40 for community members. Visit the Chorale’s website to pre-register. Fees may be paid online after filling out the registration form or at rehearsal by cash, check, or credit card.

Rehearsals are every Tuesday evening from 7:00pm until 9:15pm and the concert is on Tuesday, June 13, in Turner Auditorium with dress rehearsal the preceding Monday, June 12th. See you at rehearsal!
