Christmas in July Donation Drop-Off Dates

Do you have gently used or previously loved holiday items you no longer need or want but don't know what to do with them?  Help us and donate them to LeMoyne's Christmas in July Sale to be held July 22nd.  Two donation drop-off dates have been scheduled for your convenience, the first on Saturday, May 13th, 10am - 2pm, and the second Saturday, June 10th 10am - 2pm.  Donations will be received on the front porch of LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts. We accept all things holiday for resale:  ornaments, decorations, artificial trees, holiday dishes, lights, holiday bags, children  ornaments and decorations, whatever.  If you loved it once someone else will love it again! This year we are also asking for donations of holiday fabric and sewing notions.  We are working in partnership with Rags2Bags, an organization supported by Sustainable Tallahassee, to create reusable holiday bags to give out free during this year's holiday show.  Rags2Bags makes reusable bags year round and distributes them for free during various events in the Big Bend Area.

If you are unable to  drop-off your donations on either scheduled date, please contact LeMoyne at 850-222-8800 to make special arrangements.  Proceeds from the Christmas in July sale will go directly to the purchase of commercial decorations and merchandise to embellish and enhance not only the trees in the gallery but the handmade art items that are for sale just adding glitz and glamour to the show.  The 53rd Annual Art of Giving Holiday Show and Sale is a fundraiser for LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts and opens to the public on Black Friday.  The show runs through New Year's Eve, seven days a week and has become a family tradition you don't want to miss.
