Thomasville Center for the Arts seeks a part-time ceramics studio instructor to teach adults and manage the studio space. Instructors will teach beginner through intermediate level students. Knowledge of ceramics studio equipment, clay instruction and safety procedures are essential for this position. This candidate should have experience in all aspects of clay, studio management and some experience in teaching the subject. Schedule is flexible.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Instruct small groups on proper methods and techniques of wheel throwing and handbuiding.
2. Manage and monitor studio space for safety and cleanliness.
3. Operate kiln for students and open studio members.
