Open Registration for the Tallahassee Civic Chorale’s fall concert season begins Tuesday, August 22nd and continues on August 29th and September 5th in room CH165 of the Communications and Humanities Building at Tallahassee Community College. Registration begins at 6:30pm and the rehearsal begins promptly at 7:00pm. Registration fees are $15 per semester for students (FSU, FAMU, TCC, and under 18) and $40 per semester for community members. If you wish to register for the whole year (fall, spring and summer sessions), the fee for community members is $105. Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Established in 1986, the Civic Chorale is a non-audition, community chorus of about 60-70 singers, organized in traditional choral SATB fashion, and (since 1996) also serves as the college chorus for Tallahassee Community College. Visit www.civicchorale.org if you wish to pre-register online. For more information, visit the website or call 850-942-1893.

On Tuesday, August 22nd, at 7:00pm, the Chorale will start preparing music for their December 12th concert "A John Rutter Christmas".  The other two concerts planned for our 32nd year are a spring concert on May 1 entitled "The Elements", featuring Bob Chilcott's "The Miracle of the Spring" and a summer concert on June 22 "Summer in the 70's", where individual members and sub-groups from the Chorale will be featured. All concerts will be held at TCC's Turner Auditorium, beginning at 7:30 pm.
