Call for Full-Length Plays
White Mouse Theatre Productions is a student theatre company dedicated to social change. We are affiliated with Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. We are excited to put out a call for full-length plays written by women/queer/BIPOC playwrights to produce this fall (2022).
Plays submitted should relate to social change. We ask for scripts no longer than 120 pages (please number the pages).
The selected play will be produced on the FSU campus this fall (of 2022). At this time, we cannot offer compensation to playwrights but will provide video recordings and production and rehearsal photos. If it is possible, we would also love to facilitate a connection between the playwright and director so the playwright can be involved in the process.
Suggestions for a play that is more likely to be selected:
The cast is small
The topic of the play is related to social change
The tech requirements are minimal
The majority of the characters are women-identifying
The majority of the characters are college aged
Please limit 1 submission per person.
The deadline for submissions is August 12th at 11:59pm
