20 Artists Group Exhibit - extensive marketing of the artists and exhibition worldwide.

Deadline: September 12, 2017

 

NEW: One of the exhibiting artists will receive the "Curator's Art Prize" a $500 grant and their work will become the image of the exhibition and will be used on the invitation, video title screen and on all online marketing.

 

Theme and Selection: "Abstract 2017"- For this group exhibition the curators are looking for art of any subject created as abstraction. They will select twenty artists for this exhibit and one to five works of art will be chosen from each of the selected artists. The artwork must be based on abstraction, where the subject or message is pushed to visual limits of abstraction so that there is little or no representation of the real world (as in nonrepresentational). The submitted artwork can be of any subject that is communicated in the power of abstraction. The composition elements of the work must rely on form, color, action, lines, marks, and texture to create a purely abstract work that engages the viewer and draws them into the intention of the artist's work.

 

Eligibility & Mediums: This competition is open to all artists/photographers 18 years of age or older. Entries must be any still medium such as: paint, drawing, photography, sculpture, installation, digital, collage, fiber art. Gallery 25N's mission is to provide emerging and established artists/photographers with exposure and extensive marketing of their work and accomplishments to our international list of clientele.

 

Submission Deadline: September 12, 2017 (Midnight EST)

Curator Selection: September 19, 2017

Artist Notification: September 27, 2017

Exhibit Opens: October 6, 2017
