CALL FOR ARTISTS

The Wiregrass Artist Co-Operative, 130 E. Jackson Street, is next to the Thomasville Tourism Center and the Municipal Auditorium in downtown Thomasville, GA, is inviting “3D” artists such as ceramics, sculpture, weaving, carving and other multimedia works to apply for membership in the gallery.

Artist members of the Co-Operative have the opportunity to show their work in a retail gallery setting that has been in business in downtown Thomasville, GA for 12 years.  Artist members may also use the gallery to hold classes and demonstrations, and participate in downtown Thomasville events such as Victorian Christmas, annual Rose and Wildlife festivals and sidewalk sales. Thomasville has been included in three national magazines as one of ten “Best Small Towns in America”, and in numerous regional magazines and blogs as “My Favorite Town to Visit”.The Thomasville Tourism Center recently was awarded “Georgia’s Best Mainstreet”.
