Join COCA every month for an informal get together for Art Entrepreneurs!

We want to offer a supportive space for the arts entrepreneur community to come together to share their goals, challenges, and achievements. Everyone could use a little support in their lives and we are happy to help contribute. This month’s event will be held at COCA.

This month’s guest speaker is local creative entrepreneur, Tricia Cerrone. Tricia will discuss her entrepreneurial journey and what it is like to balance all of the aspects of being a working creative.

Who you are, what you believe, and the impact you want to have on the world are essential to all your creative endeavors. In this workshop, develop your personal or business vision and mission, and how to apply this to themes in your work. Worksheets will be provided.

Tricia Cerrone is a multi-award-winning author, designer and entrepreneur with a focus on mentoring young adults and creating stories and experiences that inspire hope. A former Walt Disney Imagineering creative executive, she spent a career telling stories with new technology, especially around participatory design. Tricia left Imagineering in 2018 to move to Tallahassee and follow her passion for writing and creating original content fulltime. Her new series, The Black Swan Files, is the journey of a genetically altered teen who becomes a superhero with the help of diverse and courageous friends that support her, teach her, and fight with her to follow their dreams and make the world a better place for all. The Black Swan Files has already garnered nine awards.

Tricia is a member of Novelists, Inc., International Thriller Writers, Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, Romance Writers of America, Alliance of Independent Authors, and several writing chapters. Tricia speaks on leadership, collaboration, design, and storytelling.
