Art Teacher for Inclusive Art/Costume/Prop/Set Classes

We are looking for an art teacher for Making Light Productions to start as soon as possible. Experience with costumes, props and sets would be great but ingenuity will go pretty far too. Classes we need help with are on Sunday from 3 to 5:30 and you will have another art teacher working with the class too. Our class schedule is expanding rapidly so if you're interested in more classes, that's a probability down the line. Pay is commensurate with degree and experience. Our current students are ages 7 through 12 and we accept kids ages 5 through 16.

The ideal candidate would have at least a B.F.A. in art or can demonstrate proficiency in the subject area (through documented experience). At least two years experience teaching individuals and/or group classes is required. Some experience in teaching children with special needs is a plus. References required and background check will be conducted after hiring.
