Call for Actors and Film Crew: "The Power of a See...
Posted: Nov 14, 2018
This film will portray a European girl who faces burning at the stake for being accused of witchcraft in the 1500s. It will take a deeper look at the fallout of Patriarchy that lead to the deaths of thousands of women in Europe and America only a few lifetimes ago. This project will examine the eradication of European indigenous healing practices and misogyny taken to genocidal levels, and how this is the foundation of today’s culture of silenced violence against women, the rise of institutions and control of seeds. From women’s reproduction to the domineering structure with Big Pharma and Monsanto’s bully control tactics, this is modern day Patriarchy examined within an historical context, and re-framed to tell a story that is deeply felt of a young girl killed for the shame of her society. This film will look at the fear of the Feminine and life’s regenerative powers, the attempt to destroy, control, and exploit women and nature, and the true “Power of a Seed”. Witch Burning, Angry Mob Scene.
