#30Under30 to Recognize Florida's Emerging Service Leaders

As part of Florida Volunteer Month, celebrated every April, Volunteer Florida is launching #30Under30. This new initiative will recognize under-30 volunteers by highlighting one volunteer a day throughout the month of April.

“We are thrilled to launch #30Under30 to recognize individuals across Florida who are actively serving in their communities,” said Chester W. Spellman, Volunteer Florida Chief Executive Officer. “Young volunteers strengthen the fabric of our communities and make Florida the best place to live and work.”

To nominate an outstanding volunteer, please email FVM@volunteerflorida.org and provide the following information:
Volunteer’s name
Volunteer’s address
A brief description of the way in which the volunteer serves (no more than one paragraph)
A quote from the volunteer about why he or she volunteers
A quote from an employee or colleague who works with the volunteer on how he or she has impacted the organization/community
A high-resolution photo
Contact information about the organization with which the volunteer serves

The deadline for submissions is March 25.
