2018 All-District Orchestra Auditions

Middle school and high school students in Leon County and surrounding counties (Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Liberty, Walton, Washington, Dixie, Hamilton, Jefferson, Lafayette, Madison, Suwannee, Taylor, Wakulla) are invited to audition for the 2018 All-District Orchestra on Tuesday, January 30. Selected students will have the opportunity to participate in the All-District Orchestra event to take place in Tallahassee on March 22-24.

Auditions will be held at Montford Middle School on Tuesday, January 30, beginning after 4 pm.

Middle school students should prepare the following scales: A, D, G, C, F & Bb
High school students should prepare the following scales: E, A, D, G, C, F, Bb, & Eb

Required excerpts may be obtained from your school orchestra director or by contacting the above contact information. Audition times on January 30 will be scheduled by expressing interest to your school orchestra director.
