Lyrical Lynn Forbes

Lililita Forbes was raised on the Caribbean Island of St. Maarten, Dutch Antilles, After Graduating fromFlorida A&M University with a BS Degree in Music Education & a Minor in Theatre, she pursued a career both locally and internationally as a teacher,Worship & creative arts Director & vocal coach. Forbes served 7 years at Woodville Elementary and Middle school as a creative art teacher.

On Stage, Forbes has performed with The FAMU Essential Theatre; FSU Triple threat Theatre Troop; A&A Production & SOMO Play House; professionallyknown by her stage name Lyrical Lynn, has written, produced & released. Six albums for Jumelle, a duo act with her Twin sister Ilismo; three of which received Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Awards.


In her spare time she is adviser to the St. Maarten-Tallahassee Student Association; Vise President of the Tallahassee-St. Maarten Foundation; founding member of the Essential Theatrical Artist (ETA) performance and mentoring organization; Member of Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity for women, Incorporated.

Lili Forbes plans to publish her first Book, a Singing & Sight reading Manual for Singers, Musicians, Praise Teams and Music Directors. She is also hard at work completing the Music for Underground the musical based on the critically acclaimed twenty-one time Award Winning Musical Underground by Akil DuPont.
