Leon Anderson, Jr. is the Director of Jazz Studies at FSU. He has been a featured soloist with The Marcus Roberts Trio, the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl, and at the “Great Saxophone Legends” concert at the Jacksonville Jazz Festival. He has also performed with the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra and the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. You can usually find him with the Leon Anderson Quartet at B. Sharp’s on Friday nights.
