Laurel Blackthorne (they/them) is a community and self-taught ceramic artist. They’ve been working with clay since 2017 and loving every minute of it. As a queer artist Laurel firmly believes that who we are as people is deeply reflected in the art we make and the art we consume. Laurel’s work focuses on themes of nature, queerness, resistance, and joy. They primarily work with stoneware and porcelain clay and make a mix of functional and decorative ceramic art.
