Clay Barczak

Hello! My name is Clay Barczak, I am a queer, gender non-conforming  creator and my work focuses on my experience growing up as such. I tend to work mostly in acrylics, gouache, or oils. My work is meant to humanize queer culture and introduce “alternative lifestyles” to de-stigmatize gender/sexuality performance. Typically I work with portraiture because I like a clear, concise representation of my muse in order to fully capture the emotions behind the piece. I hope to bring new found exposure to the reality of the queer community through visual art.
