Carl Holt

C. S. Holt is a vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist born in Richmond, Va. now residing in Monticello, Fl. C. S. grew up surrounded by music and musicians. Introduced to the Blues at a very early age, it’s still the heart of everything he does. Freddie King, Brook Benton, Levi Stubbs, Delbert McClinton, Ray Price, all contributed to his unique style and sound. His voice is big, a little gritty, and deeply soulful. If you love soul infused Blues, you’ll love the grooves, clever lyrics, and unique, powerful voice. A veteran performer, he’s had the honor of performing with or opening for artists including; The Outlaws, Clarence Carter, Ericson Holt, Jimmy Thackery, Lil’ Ronnie, and Kevin McKendrie. Past festival performances include; The Florida Seafood Festival, The Florida Forest Festival, Tallahassee Winterfest, Southern Music Rising Festival, and The Perry Blues ‘N Barbecue Festival.
