"How to Sculpt a Head out of a Cube"

As an international award-winning figurative ceramic artist, LeMoyne is honored to welcome Barbara as a Guest Artist Instructor for a special workshop, “How to Sculpt a Head out of a Cube”, October 9th, from 1-5pm at LeMoyne Arts.   In this workshop, students will learn how to construct a human head out of a clay cube using basic math and artistic instincts. She asks students to think of this more as an exercise than a finished product, though there will be an opportunity to fire and glaze the piece at LeMoyne with Nancy Jefferson. Beginners are welcome — Students will only need to bring a mask and an open mind!
