2022 34th Tri-State Juried Exhibition

Deadline: March 8, 2022

Presented by the Tallahassee Watercolor Society (TaWS) with support from the Council on Culture & Arts (COCA). Watercolor artists from Alabama, Florida and Georgia are cordially invited to participate in this water media competition and exhibition. It will be on display from May 27-July 8 at the FSU Museum of Fine Arts. An awards reception is scheduled for Friday, May 27, 6:00-8:00 PM.

This exhibition opportunity is only open to current members of the Tallahassee Watercolor Society with dues paid for 2022.

Artwork Information and Image Upload **IMPORTANT PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

When completing this application, you will be asked to fill out information about each of the artworks you intend to submit. You will then be able to upload your digital image files.

Artists must submit digital JPEG files through the electronic application. Save the files on your computer in a folder titled “Tri-State 2022.”

Image files must have a resolution of 300 dpi with a maximum image size approximately 1800 pixels or 6 inches on the longest side. Entries must be in JPEG format and be between 1MB and 3MB. No digital enhancement is allowed.

Each digital image file should be titled, “Last name_First Name_Title of the painting” (ie. Buckingham_Bobbie_Birds Eye View)

Image(s) should be correctly oriented (vertical or horizontal) and should be cropped to include only the painting, no mats or frames. Skew the corners so that they are square.

Max. file size: 3 MB.

Max. file size: 3 MB.

An entry fee of $35 is required of 2022 TaWS members. The 2022 dues can be paid with this show entry. Nonmembers can enter by becoming members, paying the entry fee of $35 combined with yearly dues of $30.

Fees will be paid electronically through PayPal at the time of submitting your application. Those without a PayPal account will still go through PayPal to use a credit card.
