Chartered in 1966, The Capital Chordsmen (officially, The Tallahassee Chapter BHS) is one of the longest tenured Barbershop Chapters in the state.  We LOVE performing around our community, and have performed not only in Tallahassee, but Thomasville, Valdosta, Marianna, Wakulla, Crawfordville, Panacea, Apalachicola, Quincy, Midway, Havana, and MANY more!  Currently only “The Capital Chordsmen” chorus is active.  (“The Barbershop Ladies of Tallahassee” are presently on hiatus.)  We perform our Annual Show in June, several Christmas Concerts during the Holiday Season, Valentine Serenades, inspirational concerts, and private functions. We are always looking for people (men an ladies) to join us in singing, enjoying, sharing, and preserving the Barbershop Harmony artform.
