Mrs. Carole Curry – a retired Leon County Public Schools educator will facilitate the reading circle. Focusing on children’s books written by African-American authors, the event will empower young people to develop a passion for literature!
Our inuagural reading circle aims to encourage thoughtful discussion and a love of reading in young people. The intent is to allow students to practice and develop the skills and strategies of good readers while receiving support and acknowledgement from their peers parents and guardians.
