Tallahassee’s beautiful and historic Goodwood estate is open to the public with FREE admission on Nov. 18 as part of the T.O.U.R. Guide program enhancing appreciation of the community’s key sites and attractions.
The Free Admission Day at Goodwood Features:
Museum Tours –The exquisitely appointed Main House, displayed as it appeared around World War I, is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Don’t miss Ascension: The Early 20th Century Rise of the African American Middle Class, an exhibit in partnership with the Meek-Eaton Black Archives at Florida A& M University.
Festival of Trees –Big Bend Habitat for Humanity presents beautiful artificial trees and wreaths for purchase and family-friendly festivities, including a visit from Santa from 10 a.m. to noon, in the Goodwood Carriage House. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (bidding ends at 4:30 p.m.). Visit bigbendhabitat.org/festival-trees.
Under One Roof –Four artists are bringing their Annual Open House Art Show and Sale to Jubilee Cottage this year - Brian Bachman, Robin Rodgers, Lesley Nolan, and Kathy Wilcox. Come check out ceramics, enamels, glass, and jewelry by these talented Tallahassee artists, and don’t forget to enter the raffle benefitting Goodwood this year!

The Museum’s main entrance is located off Miccosukee Road, just East of Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. The Museum’s back entrance can be accessed off Surgeons Drive.
