Tallahassee Downtown is excited to announce the 2017 Downtown GetDown concert series!  We are continuing 20 years of tradition and keeping our events downtown on Adams Street. There will be a total of 6 events this year on Friday nights before all FSU home football games. All events are FREE and open to the public, and all ages are encouraged to attend. 6-10PM.

The final Downtown GetDown will be headlined by The Filthy Six.  The Filthy Six are a Soul Jazz band based out of London, UK.  Led by trumpeter Nick Etwell (Tom Jones, Foo Fighters, Mumford & Sons) this crack unit of musical gunslingers have graced the bands of some of the biggest names in music including Amy Winehouse, Jill Scott, Beck, Mark Ronson, Jack White, Dionne Warwick, Pee Wee Ellis, David Axelrod, Ronnie Spector, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Basement Jaxx, Spiritualized, 4hero, Atomic Bomb Band, Madness, Galactic and the James Taylor Quartet to name but a few.

Local blues legend, Bill Wharton The Sauce Boss, will kick the night off with some funky tunes and tasty gumbo.

There will be food trucks, a craft beer bar, a street performers, a DJ on College Ave, and a Kid Zone complete with face painters, a bounce house, and lots more.  100% of alcohol sales will go directly toward supporting the local charity, Kiwanis Club.

The events will take place downtown on Adams Street and College Avenue.
