Fairview middle is known for their strong commitment to the arts and funds raised from this “Jazz in the Courtyard” event would be used to further strengthen the music program by purchasing new instruments, acquiring diverse musical pieces for the students to learn and play and help offset the cost of travel to local MPA musical competitions.

“Jazz in the Courtyard” is fun, laid back, family friendly atmosphere created to give an outlet for Fairview Jazz band members to strut their stuff for family and friends but it also a way invite the Tallahassee community in to witness as well as share their talent take part in some of the great things that are happening at Fairview Middle School.
