Set in 1992 Los Angeles, this black and white film follows two Korean brothers, Eli and Daniel, as they struggle to keep the doors of their shoe store open. They soon befriend Kamilia, an eleven-year-old African American girl. The trio’s personal struggles climax alongside the LA riots. The film offers a poignant point of view of the riots and those affected.
Movies are FREE for FSU students with valid FSU ID, $5 for general admission, and $3 for FSU Faculty/Staff and Tallahassee Film Society members.
