Artist Sarah Davis will instruct student on the proper use and care of the wheel. Students will learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing and will experiment with basic throwing techniques: centering clay, forming cylinders, bows, and cups with handles. Surface decoration, and glazing will also be covered. Classes will take place on Thursdays, 5:30-7:30pm, from October 26 – December 7 (No class thanksgiving week- 6 classes total). There is a $132 instruction fee for the seven-class series and an additional $30 fee for supplies (including an 8 piece tool set, 25lb bag of clay, and glazes). Students that already have the listed supplies will not be required to purchase the additional $30 package. Space is limited.
