A Song For My Sisters is a musical salute to the women battling, surviving, and having transitioned in the war against Breast Cancer. Vonzel brings to life the music of a forgotten era, an era where the bands were big, the horns were loud, and the joints were jumping. A Song For My Sisters pays musical tribute to the undisputed Queens of Jazz; Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, just to name a few. On "This Bitter Earth" "You Can't Take That Away", when "I'm Feeling Good". Oh and "God Bless the Child Who's Got His Own".
