Coming to America: The Immigration Experience; Courtesy of Andrew Sabori Thomasville Center for the Arts
Thomasville Center for the Arts, in partnership with Mom and Dad's Italian Restaurant, is proud to be chosen to exhibit a reproduction of the Ellis Island lost mural re-created by Andrew Sabori for the very first time to the public at large, along with National Archive portraits, passport papers and photos in Coming to America: The Immigration Experience. This exhibition will run from August 9 – October 4 in our Main Gallery. Exhibitions are free M-F 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, however, donations are welcome.
The Opening Reception on September 7 from 5:00 – 6:00 pm will include guest speakers from 6:00 – 7:30 pm:
--Andrew Sabori, lost mural artist (6 pm)
--James McSweeney, National Archives (6:30 pm)
