Tally SOUP is a microgrant dinner that celebrates and supports creative projects in Tallahassee.
Join us for the inaugural TallySOUP, a community-sourcing event with food and fresh ideas. Enjoy dinner while you listen to ideas pitched by your neighbors, then cast your vote for the winning concept.
Four people get four minutes to present their ideas for a new business or community project. Audience members donate to the pitch pot (suggested $5 donation), vote on a winning pitch, and the winner takes home the money to support launch of their idea.
Begun in Detroit, SOUP has taken hold in cities across the country. It's in-person crowd-funding, and some events have grown to more than 300 people. This is Tallahassee's turn to show support for innovative ideas, entrepreneurship, and social change.
Social Catering and Events is providing the food and drink, Frenchtown Heritage Hub has the sweet spot, and Qultur is bringing the artist. You bring a friend and a five, and we all make it happen together. To be consider as a presenter, submit your concept here: TallySoup.com
It is a recommended $5 CASH donation to enter Tally SOUP.
