The Tallahassee Community Chorus Fall Concert

The Tallahassee Community Chorus Fall Concert

Presented by The Tallahassee Community Chorus at Ruby Diamond Concert Hall - Florida State University

The Tallahassee Community Chorus invites you to join us for the first concert of our 30th Anniversary Season! We present two spiritual works, both performed with orchestra and guest soloists under the baton of our special guest conductor, Dr. Anton Armstrong. Mendelssohn provides a vivid musical setting for the text of the biblical 42nd Psalm, while Vaughan Williams sets to music four sacred poems by English poet George Herbert, with the fifth song often sung as a stand-along hymn, "Let All the World in Every Corner Sing." Two additional pieces by Vaughan Williams will round out the performance.
