The Carrabelle Culture Crawl is a celebration of amazing art, music, history, food, and fun in the heart of downtown Carrabelle on Saturday, March 25, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. This cultural event is a free, multi-venue showcase that will take place at a variety of galleries, museums, shops, restaurants, and spaces. This event is FREE and open to the public.
Be on the lookout for the Oysterman and some favorite characters from the Fishy Fashion Show wandering the streets, representing the spirit of Carrabelle. Talented area artists will be sketching, drawing and creating art at several places downtown during the event. There will even be opportunities for visitors to lend their talents to some creation of public art. Music will be heard during the Culture Crawl in some unexpected places - like some good guitar pickin' at Gander's Hardware and piano playing at Christie's Cottage Living to mention a few.
Guests may start at any of the participating locations and visit as many as time allows. Maps will be provided showing the locations of the official stops. At each official stop, participants will receive a mark on their Crawl map. Returning completed maps to the Carrabelle History Museum or the Carrabelle Chamber of Commerce will qualify participants for a drawing for some wonderful door prizes from local shops and restaurants. Complimentary refreshments will be available at many of the locations.
Seventeen wonderful locations have agreed to participate so far and it is still growing! Be sure to check the Facebook event for updates - https://www.facebook.com/events/1635465786758873/
