This event is designed to inspire and educate with the hopes of creating enthusiasm for black history by highlighting local performers and dignitaries.

Maya Angelou said, “No man can know where he is going unless he knows exactly where he has been and exactly how he arrived at his present place.” We can learn from the many stories of our ancestors and draw strength and inspiration as we become tomorrow’s ancestors. We will have many local performers and speakers.
