With Black History Month, Midtown Reader begins a "Read to Lead" series featuring local community leaders who will discuss the books that had the greatest impact on their professional and personal experience.  Our inaugural event will include Dr. Ann Kimbrough, Dean of the FAMU School of Journalism!

A past President of the Atlanta Association of Journalists, Dr. Kimbrough has "authored, contributed, anchored, and produced in all media - radio, televion, newspaper and magazine - on national and international platforms" according to FAMU's school of journalism - including Georgia Public Television, the NY Times, Atlanta Journal/Constitution, Businessweek, Time and US News and World Report, among others.
