Aint I a Woman is a music theater work for actress and chamber music trio that honors four African American Women of remarkable achievement and invinceable character: ex-slave and fiery abolitionist Sojourner Truth, renowned novelist and anthropologist Zora Neale Hurston, exuberant folk artist Clementine Hunter, and fervent civil rights worker Fanny Lou Hamer.
