There is nothing more fun than making music with your friends!  And Making Light Productions offers group and individual music lessons and classes -- instruments, voice, music theory and history/appreciation -- to give our students a well-rounded music education.  Whether your child's goal is to surprise family and friends at parties (yay! We can go to parties again!) by playing Billy Joel hits for a big "Piano Man" sing-along -- or they want to win top awards at the annual Access Broadway musical theatre competition, Making Light has the class for you.  Because we meet each student where they are, listen to their goals, and make OUR top goal instilling in each child a lifelong love of music: Let's Make Music - Monday - ukulele (ages 8 and up, 2:45 - 3:30 PM) Let's Make Music - Tuesday - ukulele (ages 8 and up, 3:30 - 4:30 PM) Let's Make Music - Wednesday - seasonal singing  (ages 8 and up, 2:45 - 3:30 PM) Let's Make Music - Thursday - hand percussion (ages 8 and up, 3:30-4:30 PM) Let's Make Music - Friday - hand percussion (ages 8 and up, 2:45 - 3:30 PM) Making Light Singers 1 (Mondays, 5:00 - 6:00 PM) Making Light Singers 2 - Show Choir (Mondays, 5:00 - 6:00 PM) The 17-week Winter/Spring Semester at Making Light begins Sunday, January 9 and runs through Saturday, May 14. We are closed the week of Leon County Schools Spring Break (March 14-21), and that week is not counted in the original 17 weeks of the semester, so it does not have to be made up. SAVE THE DATE:  All students will participate in our SENSATIONAL Spring Showcase in May 2022 (exact dates/time TBA)! All classes take place on a weekly basis at our Tallahassee studio at 2720 S Blair Stone Road. Rigorous health and safety protocols are in place for our in-person classes and lessons.
