Making Light offers individual and group fine art and craft classes. Students of all ages are trained in the fundamentals of drawing, painting, sculpting and even animation! Group classes also help design and create props and sets for our theatre classes. When weather permits, we also enjoy going outside to practice sketching in nature or creating sculptures from natural things in the world around us! The 17-week Winter/Spring Semester at Making Light begins Sunday, January 9 and runs through Saturday, May 14. We are closed the week of Leon County Schools Spring Break (March 14-21), and that week is not counted in the original 17 weeks of the semester, so it does not have to be made up. All students will participate in our Spring Showcase in May 2022 (exact dates/time TBA)!
