North Florida Community College Artist Series presents the RUSSIAN STRING ORCHESTRA on Friday, Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. The music of this warm, high energy orchestra will stay with you long after the last note has been played! Founded in 1991, the Russian String Orchestra (formerly the Chamber Orchestra Kremlin), comprised of some of Russia’s finest young string players, has carved a niche for itself under the creative baton of its founder and music director Misha Rachlevsky. Enjoy compositions by Rossini; Eskender Bekmambetov - “For Misha’s Gang”; Schnauber - “In Memory of Henry Temianka”; and Schubert - “Death and the Maiden.”

The Russian String Orchestra performs at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3 at Van H. Priest Auditorium (North Florida Community College) as part of the 2016-2017 North Florida Community College Artist Series season.
