This is a FREE educator event, but registration is required.

Join WFSU for our second PBS / Edcamp mashup! This self-guided evening of "un-conferences" will feature break-out sessions lead in partnership with the WFSU Education team, the Early Learning Coalition of the Big Bend, and other key community partners. In keeping with the Edcamp model, this free evening of educator empowerment aims to maximize professional learning experience tailored to your own interests, so we all come out with a deeper understanding of the breadth of work our education community does on all levels and in all areas! You'll be free to wander between sessions as you please, and encouraged to chime in to share your knowledge - think EXPERIENCE, not EXPERTS.

If you have an early education topic that you feel passionately about, are knowledgeable about, or would like to BECOME more knowledgeable about, add it to our Google Doc of session ideas! We may be able to work it into a session, or make it an agenda item during larger discussion.

This evening's discussions will focus on the PreK - 1st grade age range, and educators from any and all backgrounds are invited.

Schedule for Thursday, April 26th:

  • 5:30pm - Welcome & Edcamp Overview
  • 5:45pm - Session 1
  • 6:30pm - Dinner
  • 7:00pm - Session 2
  • 7:45pm - Wrap Up & Raffle Drawing!
