Christie Fitz-Patrick, Florida Department of State Deputy Secretary of State for Cultural Affairs, Historical Resources, and Library and Information Programs will share with you the presentation she did at the Senate Transportation, Tourism, and Economic Development Appropriations Subcommittee last week and review what the Department of State recommends in its FY 2018-2019 Legislative Budget Requests to the Florida Legislature and how we can all help to secure the appropriations needed to fund the Department's grants.

Terry Olson who heads the Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs Office will share with us how he coordinates Central Florida arts advocates to travel to Tallahassee each year to participate in Arts & Culture Day and how you, too, can organize advocates from your county to participate January 24 in Arts & Culture Day at our state Capitol.
