A practicing, registered architect with a instruction in Fine Arts. In addition to my degrees in architecture, I hold a BFA from FSU in Printmaking/Photography, and more recently master coursework in kiln-formed fused art glass.

My photography focuses on landscape/seascape subjects. My portfolio is named "Distant Lights | Everyday Sights", as it reflects my love for available natural light. I am fascinated by the unseen world, and explore this topic using special infrared sensing camera equipment, or long exposure work exploring the world of astrophotography. Infrared is the spectrum of natural light occurring just outside of the low end of the visible spectrum.  IR reveals another layer of understanding of the form and texture inherent in our natural environment. Astrophotography, takes a look again outside of our limited human senses through the use of long exposures, --holding the camera shutter open for extended periods to gather distant light. My photography can be explored at https://www.distantlightstudio.com, where print-to-order purchases can be made directly.

My kiln-formed glass emerged from a love of all things glass: texture, color, and of course its translucent qualities. I have extensively studied the science of glass, learning about heat manipulation of forms, and proper annealing. My glasswork can be explored at https://www.fyoozgallery.com

Please contact me with any questions about the work, or for ordering assistance. Thanks for your interest!
