This society is organized for the purposes of literary and educational work in the field of genealogy and related fields; to preserve and perpetuate the records of our ancestors; to encourage the study of family histories and genealogies; and to pool our knowledge and interests to aid individual members of the society and of the public in the compilation of their genealogies.

We usually meet on the 4th Sunday afternoon of each month at the LeRoy Collins Main Library, to share information and enjoy an educational presentation.

    • Good Morning,
It's exciting that you want to explore your family history!
Are you looking for someone to hire in Tallahassee, or a volunteer?
If you can let me know, I'll send you a list of people.
      Thanks,
      Karen Parks-Meehan, President

  2. I am interested in pursuing how to become a certified/licensed genealogist, starting with my own family history and tree. I am currently residing in the Leon and Gadsden county area and would like to work with someone in person
